Day of exercise

Went to the gym for Zumba as well as Fitball today, then did some quick shopping before picking up Cameo from Club K9.

It seems he too had a big day of exercising:-)

He just livened up briefly when dinner was served.

God love him!

Springtime

Last week on my little farm I spotted these spring flowers where once upon a time a cottage must have stood

Friday was the day of the auction of the farm in NSW, but nothing came of it.

To cheer myself up, I visited the Spring Festival at the Royal Hobart Botanic Garden on Sunday. Lots of Rhododendrons and Azaleas were in flower, as well as lots of other things, of course.

Things to think about for the garden now that the weather is agreeable enough to work in it.

New Beginnings

This is the story of my new life since December 2011.

I moved to Tasmania in a motor home with four cats and Cameo and ended up in this little cottage in Abels Bay.
I call it My Bay Shack.

There are only three cats left now as one of them had to be put to sleep.


I tried to have a vegetable garden but it got demolished by the wildlife.
Whilst I was able to keep the wallabies out with a fence, I was not so lucky with the possums as they come over the top of the house.
So now I'm feeding three possums as well.

Since coming here I have at last started to knit again.

A calendar with photos has already been printed, and the newsletter is in the making.

In other words, my Christmas mail should be on time this year.

So far I have not started to paint yet, but there is certainly no lack of inspiration.
